MIDayLog is an app that helps you keep notes (a log or diary) about your daily activities. It pops up a window automatically on a predetermined schedule to remind you to make a note entry. When it does this you enter a note (text) about what you want to remember. The entries are saved in a LOG file which can be reviewed by the user later.(For example, a user might set up MIDayLog to pop up every work day at 3:05pm. The user could then make a text entry that summarizes their work activities for the day. The user could then later look in the log file to review all previous entries.)
MIDayLog allows the user to set up a schedule for the app to automatically restart and ask for input for a log ENTRY. The user can then stop the app and it will restart later per schedule. Log Entries can also be made at any time by the user manually starting app.
A log entry can be any text (sentences) that the user wants to enter via keyboard or via speech on those devices that support it.
MIDayLog keeps all current logged entries in a text file (MIDayLog_Log). Each entry will have a timestamp. The current log file with all previous entries is visible and reviewable by the user.
